TRUMBULL, CT USA — October 24, 2019 — Questionmark, which provides enterprise-grade assessment software and professional services, has achieved authorization from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP).
The FedRAMP Authorization means that Questionmark has met cloud service offering compliance and security standards required to provide assessment services to U.S. Government and Military organizations.
Questionmark’s cloud service offering also has the capabilities to benefit commercial customers. Achieving the authorization took four years and an additional $1m in spending per year, and meant meeting more than 300 of FedRAMP’s Moderate baseline security controls. Questionmark’s customers will benefit from more reliable software, increased security controls and the ability to restore services rapidly in the event of a failure. They will also enjoy more formal change control procedures and better automated deployment of releases.
John Kleeman, Questionmark Founder and Executive Director, said “The authority to deliver assessments via the cloud for U.S. Government organizations is a testament to our ability to understand and operate within the most complex procedures. It shows we can deliver robust enterprise-grade assessment services, now and in the future.
“We continue to provide this service to all our customers. Our focus is always to help customers unlock their potential through fair, valid, reliable and defensible assessments, whether that’s to improve performance through more effective learning or to ensure compliance.”
David Hunt, Questionmark Information Security Officer, said: “The FedRAMP Authorization is a reflection of the rigor and security we provide. It demonstrates that Questionmark software is reliable, compliant and well managed. It demonstrates that customers can trust us for the long-term to help build their assessment strategies. We will continue to raise the bar, whether that is with the U.S. Government and Military or customers in the business and academic worlds.”
Donna Johnson, Program Manager at Customs and Border Protection, said: “The partnership with Questionmark allows us to do what we do best. Together, we successfully develop and deliver specialized aviation and maritime training to Air and Marine personnel. A single system to track critical data for training means Air and Marine Operations personnel can safely and effectively do their job.”
