Title:
Assessing the Cultural Dimensions of Organizational Success
Synopsis:
Most assessment in organizations focus on individuals: their fit for a particular position and the improvement of competencies required to succeed in that position. But the behavior of individual human beings is shaped by the groups and cultures in which they participate. To understand and change the behavior of individuals, it's essential to understand the systems driving that behavior.
This presentation will focus on the analysis of organizational culture as the unit that links individual behavior to organizational success:what are the key variables in organizational systems that affect the organization's ability to accomplish its mission, and how can those variables be measured? Learn about existing research on this topic, examples of tools that measure organizational variables, and key guidelines for designing one's own organizational culture assessment.
