Questionmark allows you to deploy your assessment across the Internet or an intranet to standard browsers such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Participants answer the questions, and can, if desired, receive instant feedback. Questionmark automatically scores, tabulates, and stores the answers in a secure database.
Smart phones such as the Apple iPhone, Blackberry and Android phones, tablets such as the Apple iPad, and other wireless devices are making it increasingly possible for organisations to extend the benefits of online assessments to mobile employees and students.
Questionmark makes it easy to deliver observational and workplace assessments in which an "observer" logs in and assesses participants on how they perform specific tasks and rates their cognitive knowledge or abilities. Coupled with Questionmark's mobile delivery capabilities, Questionmark users have the flexibility to conduct observational assessments when they need to, where they need to—with results instantly saved to the central repository for analysis and reporting to stakeholders.
Questionmark Secure is a lock-down browser designed to help you provide a secure environment in which to deliver high stakes assessments such as tests and exams. Delivering assessments via Questionmark Secure can help significantly reduce the risk of cheating when deployed along with other defenses to combat impersonation and content theft. Available for Windows, Mac, and iPad.
Questionmark's proctoring solutions provide flexible, cost-effective options when you have tests and exams that need to be administered under the watchful eye of a proctor or invigilator. With Online Proctoring, you can provide candidates the convenience of online exam delivery in their home or workplace -- all under the watchful eye of a proctor. Questionmark's OnSite Proctoring solution assists proctors with features to start, pause, un-pause and stop tests for an individual or group within a test center.
For maximum flexibility in delivery, users may deploy Questionmark's printing and scanning solution, which enables users to author assessments in Questionmark that participants may read and answer on paper. Participant responses can then be scanned and uploaded to Perception for scoring and reporting. Benefits include:
- Authoring and item banking in Questionmark
- Blended assessment delivery
- Integrated reporting of test results
- Quick, comprehensive reports
- Compatibility with many scanning systems
During an assessment answers can be "auto-saved" in the background or the participant can be presented with a save button. This "Save As You Go" feature reduces frustration caused by technical failures and other distractions and allows a participant to restart an assessment from where they left off. Save As You Go conforms to the requirements of the Association of Test Publishers’ guidelines for administering computerized assessments.
Save As You Go can be configured to:
- Save answers on request (when the participant presses the Save button)
- Save answers at specific timed intervals (for example, every 5 minutes)
- Save answers on request as well as at timed intervals
Questionmark to Go enables remote users to synchronise from their Windows PCs to their web servers. They can then pull down new Questionmark assessments scheduled by an administrator, disconnect from the network and then answer questions and receive feedback offline. Once a connection to the Internet or network is reestablished, Questionmark to Go automatically uploads results to Questionmark server for reporting.
Questionmark enables you to schedule individuals or groups to take assessments, send emails to participants, add and manage participants, organise participants into groups and manage privileges of participants and administrators.
The user interfaces presented to participants are available 36 languages. If you wish, participants can receive instant feedback and their answers can be stored to disk or uploaded to Questionmark server for reporting.
Questionmark provides numerous ways to integrate with its delivery system. This enables third party management system to launch and track assessments stored in the repository. Integrations are possible using industry standards (including AICC and SCORM), Questionmark's web services API and using "connector" software available from Questionmark.
