Questionmark's Open Assessment Platform

How do I display an assessment in my WordPress blog?

In this blogging platform, you will need to embed your assessments in an iFrame - you need to embed your iFrame in your HTML code. Once your post is published the code for your assessment will be shown in your blog post.

Please remember when creating a new post you want to include an assessment in to use the HTML mode, not the visual mode to write your post.

The information below will show you how to use the iFrame with a formulated URL that will allow you to enter an assessment directly. If you would like to know more about the contents of the URL, please refer to the following How to:

Please note that is only possible to include the iFrame code in a self-hosted WordPress blog. Any blogs hosted at wordpress.com or wordpress.org will automatically remove any iFrame code you insert. WordPress have done this to reduce the bandwidth used by users using their hosted blog service.

Use your self-hosted WordPress blog and follow the steps below to add an iFrame:

  1. Log into WordPress with your username and password.
  2. Click New Post.
  3. Enter a title for your post.
  4. Select the HTML tab and enter the html code required to display your assessement. The resulting tag should look like this:

    <table bordercolor="#c2d3ea" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="704" align="center" border="1"><tbody>

    <tr><td><iFrame marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" src="http://www.yourdomain.com/perception5/open.php?SESSION=9489083681489347&NAME=anonymous&GROUP=anonymous" frameborder="0" width="100%" scrolling="yes" height="500"></iFrame>

    </td></tr></tbody></table>

  5. Click Save Draft and then Preview to view your assessment, and it should open up in a separate page for you.
