It is possible to embed Questionmark assessments in Ning network web sites. An assessment can be embedded using an iFrame. It is possible to add an iFrame to any page that can use the My Text Box Ning application.

This Knowledge Base article provides instructions on adding the My Text Box Ning application to your Main Ning page or the My Page option. Once the My Text Box application has been added you can use it to show an assessment.

To add the My Text Box application to you main page:

  1. Log in to your Ning website.
  2. Select the Manage tab.
  3. Click Features from the Add New Features... section.
  4. Drag the Text Box icon from the Features list and place it where you want in the Layout for your site.
  5. Click Save.

To add the My Text Box application to your personal page:

  1. Log in to your Ning website.
  2. Select the My Page tab.
  3. Under My Apps (on the left hand side of the page) click Add Apps.
  4. Search for the My Text Box application.
  5. Click Add to My Apps Page.
  6. Click Add App.

Now that the My Text Box application has been added to the required part of your web site you can use it to embed an assessment in an iFrame. To embed an assessment:

  1. Navigate to the page where you added the My Text Box application.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Enter the HTML code needed to display your assessment. The resulting tag should look like this:

    <iframe width="100%" height="400" frameborder="0" scrolling="yes" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://myserver/perception5/open.php?session=84574123856382&name=tryout"></iframe>

  4. Click Save.

Once the page is saved you should see the assessment displayed.
