MovableType is a popular blogging platform. TypePad is the hosted version of MovableType. It is possible to display an assessments in both versions of the blogging software.
You will need to embed your assessments in an iFrame—you need to embed your iFrame in your HTML code. Once your post is published the code for your assessment will be shown exactly as you have entered.
Remember when creating a new post in which you want to include an assessment to use the HTML mode, not the visual mode to write your post.
The information below will show you how to use the iFrame with a formulated URL that will allow you to enter the assessment directly. If you would like to know more about the contents of the URL, please refer to How do I create a URL that links directly to a Questionmark assessment? (LINK NEEDED!)
To include an assessment in a blog post:
- Log in to MovableType/TypePad and create a new post.
- Enter a Title for your post and any other content.
- Switch to HTML mode.
- Add the HTML code required to display your assessment. The resulting tag should look like this:
<table bordercolor="#c2d3ea" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="700" align="center" border="1"><tbody><tr><td><iFrame marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" src="http://www.yourdomain.com/q4/open.dll?SESSION=9489083681489347&NAME=anonymous&GROUP=anonymous" frameborder="0" width="100%" scrolling="yes" height="500"></iFrame>
- Click Save and then Preview to view your assessment. It should open up in a separate page for you.
