Eric Shepherd, CEO
Eric Shepherd leads Questionmark in providing testing and assessment technologies and services to businesses, test publishers, government agencies, educational institutions and other organizations around the world. Recognized as one of the world’s authorities on assessment software, Eric has championed the use of online assessments for learning, qualifying and performing. He serves on the Board of Directors of the HR Open Standards Consortium and the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) in order to further the reliability, validity, quality, use and public image of assessments. He was instrumental in the development of the IMS Question and Test Interoperability (IMS QTI) standard and served as the first chairman of ATP’s European Division. He has advised corporations, government departments, universities, schools and technical standards bodies on the deployment of online assessments and is a sought-after speaker for conferences and seminars around the world.
John Kleeman, Executive Director and Founder
John Kleeman is the Founder and Executive Director of Questionmark. He has a first class degree from Trinity College, Cambridge, and is a Chartered Engineer. John wrote the first version of the Questionmark assessment software system and then founded Questionmark in 1988 to market, develop and support it.
John has been heavily involved in assessment software development for over 20 years and has also participated in several standards initiatives: he was on the original team that created IMS QTI and was the instigator and chairman of the panel that produced the Standard BS 7988, which has now become ISO 23988.
Mike Aspinall, CFO
Mike Aspinall is a seasoned executive with extensive experience overseeing finance for growth organisations. As Questionmark’s CFO Mike is responsible for ensuring that Questionmark is optimised for growth by leading the financial team and harvesting and representing KPIs cross-functionally. Mike is an MBA and chartered accountant with significant financial leadership experience in strategy and business planning for growth, fund-raising, building finance teams and implementing KPIs. Mike started his career at Arthur Andersen, and has worked across media/technology, retail and services sectors in a range of finance and strategy roles.

Che Osborne, Vice President of Sales
As Questionmark’s Vice President of Sales, Che Osborne leads a global team that helps corporations, credentialing organizations, educational institutions and government agencies select technologies and services for implementing effective assessment programs. Che has more than 15 years of experience in the field of online assessment and is a certified practitioner of PRINCE2, a process-based approach for project management.
Howard Eisenberg, Director of Solution Services
As Director of Solution Services, Howard Eisenberg oversees a team of consultants who help Questionmark’s customers use, deploy and integrate Questionmark technologies. Howard brings extensive hands-on experience in the design and development of online assessments in both corporate training and higher education contexts. He has given presentations for Association for the Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business Distance Education, TechLearn, The League for Innovation in the Community College and the eLearning Guild.
Kaitlyn Lardin, Human Resources Director
Kaitlyn Lardin is responsible for all HR functions including recruitment, employee benefits, HR administration, employee relations and performance management in the US, UK, Canada and Europe.
A former technical recruiter, she holds a master’s degree in Industrial/Organization Psychology from the University of New Haven.

As Questionmark's Product Development Manager, Mack Male encourages learning & best practice, promotes the appropriate systems, technologies, tools, and processes to help Questionmark develop high quality software that delights users.
Clare Ramery, General Manager
Clare Ramery supports the activities of Questionmark’s CEO as well as the marketing, sales, customer care, training and consulting teams, coordinating their efforts to achieve efficient operations. She also administers the company’s CRM system and oversees logistics for special events.
Brian McNamara, Marketing Director
As Questionmark’s Marketing Director, Brian McNamara has been managing global marketing and communications since joining the company in 2004.
Brian has spent the past fifteen years in marketing and public relations, working exclusively with organizations that serve the needs training, education and assessment professionals.
