10. Create a second (and third/fourth/...) Perception server
You now need to create and configure the next node(s) (i.e., servers) in your load-balanced environment.
This means installing Perception on your second (and third/fourth/...) server, following steps 2 through step 2o of this load-balanced installation section (you won't need to recreate the databases, so you can skip steps 1, 2d, 2i, and 2g).
Once you have finished installing the software do not continue on to the configuration application to create the Main, Results Warehouse, and ETL_Temp databases, or configure the database links. We will be importing the configuration used in the next step.
You will also need to make sure when installing Perception that you:
- create the necessary ODBC connection on Server 2 (and 3/4/... as well) and
- run the Shared Repository Manager and use the Configuring Perception window to create the necessary web shares.
