QUESTION MARK PUTS COMPUTERS TO THE TEST AT ASTD EXPO
Software enables trainers to write, administer and mark tests using PCs
DALLAS, TX -- June 6, 1995 -- The Latest Question Mark Testing and assessment software from Presence Corporation is being demonstrated at Booth #943 at the ASTD International Conference and Exhibition.
Question Mark is used for Pre-course assessment and post-course analysis in industries ranging banking and insurance to mass transit and manufacturing. The software, which is available on Windows, DOS and Macintosh platforms, makes test creation easy and flexible even for people with no significant computer experience. It also saves trainers’ time by freeing them from marking tests.
Question Mark’s sophisticated reporting facilities enable trainers to analyze not only the competency of employees but the effectiveness of existing training programs.
Network Guardian, a new Question Mark product, is being seen for the first time at the show. Guardian gives the users complete control over who is allowed to take a certain test, which tests are available to run, how many times they can be done, and in what order. The software keeps a reliable record of who does what test and what score they get, thereby preventing people from secretly attempting a test. Guardian is primarily aimed at network users of Question Mark, but it can also be used on standalone PC or when distributing material at a distance.
