CHICAGO, IL June 15, 1999 DKSystems, Inc. and Question Mark Corporation of Stamford, Connecticut, today announced the integration of QM Perception Web-based assessment software with DKSystems' training management system, OnTrack for Training.

Seamless connections to Perception quizzes, tests and self-assessments offer a means of providing instant feedback to OnTrack course participants and powerful reporting capabilities to course administrators. Question Mark Perception enables educators and trainers to write, administer and grade assessments for secure deployment on the Internet and Intranets. Pre-course assessments enable participants to test out of courses, and valuable data compiled through the use of on-line assessments before, during, and after each course gives administrators a simple way to track people's progress and manage the certification process.

"The integration of Perception assessments with OnTrack for Training expands the full-service training solution we provide our clients," stated Dave Kripke, President of DKSystems. "We are excited to be able to partner with such an innovative company as Question Mark."

"OnTrack is a superb training management system, " added Question Mark president Eric Shepherd. "The seamless integration of Perception assessments with OnTrack will make it easy for course participants to access quizzes and tests. Through the use of Perception and PIP, its integration protocol, OnTrack can now link course participants with easy-to-use assessments from low- stakes quizzes to high-stakes final exams."

OnTrack for Training is a comprehensive planning, monitoring, managing and reporting tool that automates an enterprise's entire training program. The system provides a broad base of functionality via a robust client/server interface. On Track integrates the key areas of training management: CBT/WBT, self-study, classroom training, skills definition and assessment, curriculum management, requirement management and request management.

OnTrack is used on the World Wide Web with its Web add-on product, OnTrack Online, which allows users to create a Web-based self-service training department. Students can view their training requests and requirements, search online course catalogs, request courses from the Web, and launch and deploy any AICC-compliant CBT/WBT training. Supervisors have the ability to review staff requests and approve or deny training registration requests, from wherever they can access the Web.

Question Mark Perception is a widely used Web-based testing and assessment tool with full multimedia capabilities, for use on the World Wide Web. The software features security functions calculated to make testing in on-line environments safer than ever before. A comprehensive reporting system helps educators with powerful information to improve their assessments, training and also survey opinions.

Question Mark Corporation's new Perception Integration Protocol (PIP) has made it possible to seamlessly link Perception assessments with other systems including OnTrack for Training. The PIP interface makes it easy for system integrators, instructional designers, training program vendors, and database programmers to integrate Perception with their systems.

With PIP, trainers can call Perception from or use Perception results in another program. They can schedule and deliver courseware, administer a test, survey or assessment, charge for an assessment, and update student and employee databases, seamlessly and securely linking existing systems with Perception. Details about PIP are available at http://www.questionmark.com/perception/help/interface
