HR-XML Consortium, Inc. recertifies Questionmark
Open data exchange standards promote smoother assessment system integrations
NORWALK, CT. – January 26, 2012 – The HR-XML Consortium has recertified testing and assessment technologies and services provider Questionmark as conforming to the Consortium’s open data exchange standards.
Conformance to standards can help employers achieve smoother integrations between Questionmark® assessments and core HR systems, ultimately making it faster and easier for HR managers to perform essential tasks such as scheduling assessments or accessing results. By using a standard exchange format based on the industry standard XML, companies can use the best of breed systems from multiple suppliers and not be “locked in” to a single supplier.
“With increasing corporate focus on human capital management, performance improvement and compliance, use of online assessments of knowledge, skills and attitude is a critical and often the only way for an organization’s management team to reach all its employees globally,” commented Questionmark Chairman John Kleeman. “Questionmark has supported f open standards to exchange assessment data since the 1990s and are pleased to support the important HR-XML standard.”
Questionmark was first certified against HR-XML in 2005 and also supports AICC, SCORM and IMS standards as well as partnering with Microsoft, Oracle and SAP. Questionmark assessments are used by corporations, government agencies, educational institutions and credentialing organizations to securely measure knowledge, skills, and attitudes for certification, regulatory compliance and successful learning outcomes.
HR-XML-certified organizations are awarded a logo to use on their websites and a conformance statement within a registry located at http://www.HRcertify.org. The HR-XML certified logo indicates that the solution provider is a technology leader and is ready to integrate flexibly and opportunistically with customers and partners.
