NORWALK, CT – November 25, 2008—Assessment technology and services provider Questionmark has launched a wiki to help its customers collaborate in documenting best practices for using assessments to promote organizational effectiveness.

More than 2,500 organizations in 50 countries use the Questionmark™ Perception™ assessment management system, some of them involved in high-volume, global tests and surveys. Recognizing the expertise many customers have developed over the years, the company sees tremendous potential in their collective ability to improve the effectiveness of assessments in helping people learn as well as in measuring knowledge, skills and attitudes.

The wiki provides a platform for Questionmark users to build and maintain a dynamic knowledge base on best practices and lessons learned – both for Questionmark’s assessment management technologies for testing and assessment in general. It enhances rather than replaces Questionmark Communities user forums, which continue to serve as excellent venues for asking questions and getting quick, brief answers from fellow Questionmark users. The wiki, by contrast, provides an easily searchable and indexed, collaborative tool for documenting best practices.

Wiki topics include assessment applications, best practices, lessons learned, integrating Questionmark Perception with other systems, and examples of questions and assessments. Participants can document best practices about everything from the use of attitude surveys and formative assessments to the deployment of high-stakes exams and the use of test analytics.
