Managing Administrators

Overview
Administrative users can add, change and delete other administrative users, administrative user privileges, participant details, schedules and groups. They can also manage the Perception server, send emails from Perception and run reports if they have been given these privileges.
Administrator details
Along with the unique administrator's ID, the system stores the administrator's password (and optionally their email address), their home page URL, the groups they are associated with, IP addresses that limit their access, and their privileges.



Administrators' privileges
Preset privileges can be maintained to ease the burden of setting up commonly required privileges for instructors and managers. An administrator’s privileges can be set up to limit or allow access to:

  • Authoring
  • Administration area to add, change, and/or delete:
    • Participants
    • Groups
    • Schedules
    • Administrative users and their privileges
  • Reporting and specific report types
  • Results Manager
  • Monitoring assessments
  • Scoring Tool
  • Uploading of Scanned Results
  • Management of Test Centers
  • Workflow management
  • Server Management
  • Email broadcasting
