Questionmark Perception Delivery Questionmark Secure

Questionmark Secure

Secure Delivery to Minimize Cheating and Keep Your Assessments Safe
Questionmark Secure is designed to provide a secure environment to deliver high stakes assessments such as tests and exams. Questionmark Perception can deliver questions to any web browser, but most browsers are designed to be as open and flexible as possible. When you are delivering high-stakes tests and exams online, you need far more security than a web browser can provide. With Perception you can specify that a test or an exam is only delivered via Questionmark Secure to significantly reduce the risk of cheating.

Why Questionmark Secure?
Questionmark Secure helps prevent cheating on high-stakes exams delivered online by preventing participants from copying or printing exam material, ‘accidentally’ exiting a test, or gaining access to materials on their computers or the Internet that could give an unfair advantage. When a participant takes an online assessment using Questionmark Secure, the secure browser displays the HTML content of the assessment but disables key functions such as task-switching, right click options, screen captures, menus and printing.

Enables high stakes testing

Questionmark Secure enables high stakes testing to be performed from a computer lab or training room without any special configurations. Simply install Questionmark Secure on your PCs, use secure sockets (https:) to frustrate network sniffing, and start delivering high-stakes tests.

But remember: Questionmark Secure can lock-down the technology, but there are many other factors you must consider in planning your high-stakes testing. Questionmark’s white paper “Delivering Assessments Safely and Securely” provides guidance on a range of testing scenarios and an overview of desirable test center characteristics, authentication, and monitoring (or proctoring/ invigilating) practices. You can download this white paper at: www.questionmark.com/whitepapers
