  Questionmark Perception Content Converter

Content Converter

Background

There are many ways to get your items into Perception. You can author directly into your repository using Perception Authoring Manager or Browser-based Authoring. You can create items using Word Authoring Templates that enable quick, form-driven authoring of items that can be rapidly published into Perception.

When you wish to import items created in a third-party application directly into Perception, the Content Converter can help.

What is Content Converter?

The Content Converter is a web-based application available to members of Questionmark Communities who wish to convert items created in a third-party application to a format that can be imported into Perception. Using Content Converter, you can convert items exported from other applications into files that can be imported into Perception.  The content converter enables you to save these items as a “qpack” or as a QML file that can be imported into Perception.

What formats and item types are supported?

Content Converter will convert items saved to QTI-XML format, or from Blackboard 6 and higher, to Perception qpacks or to QML files that can be easily imported into Perception.  The Content Converter will convert Multiple Choice, Yes/No, True/False, Likert Scale and Explanation item types.
