Browser Based Assessment Manager

Overview
Assessment Manager allows you to specify which questions are to be delivered, determine whether they are to be delivered in order or randomly, create a look and feel by selecting a template, decide at which level you would like to provide feedback (item or assessment), security requirements, and plan how to end the assessment.

Once your assessments are created you can preview them to see how they will appear post-deployment. Like Question Manager, Assessment Manager works directly with the server's database to provide real-time updates.

Controlling Assessments
You have complete control over the content of the assessment, the kind of feedback you would like to provide, and the overall look and feel of each quiz, test or survey you create.  Settings include:

  • Assessment name
  • Time limits
  • A message for participants
  • Template to specify the look and feel of the assessment
  • How the participant's results are recorded in the database.
  • Amount of item level feedback to be provided and when
  • Security settings
    • Secure browser (Questionmark Secure) required or not
    • Monitoring (Invigilating/Proctoring) required or not
    • Additional passwords to schedule
  • Save as you go settings

Assessment Outcomes
Assessment outcomes correspond to a range of scores for an assessment and any pre-requisites that have been associated with them. Assessment outcomes define:

  • A name (or label) to be recorded in the results database (such as pass or fail)
  • The minimum and maximum percentage score that apply to this assessment outcome
  • A message that you wish to display for a participant based on their score
  • The URL that you link a participant to based on their score.
