Accessibility

Accessibility
Accessibility icon As more and more organizations are delivering assessments on-screen, legal and ethical issues are compelling them to better accommodate the needs of participants with disabilities. Questionmark Perception includes capabilities for ensuring the accessibility of assessments in adherence to WCAG standards.
  • Delivery software renders HTML optimized to work with assistive technologies such as screen readers
  • Assessment templates include text-sizing and contrast controls within assessments to aid participants with low/partial vision:

  • Improved capabilities for navigation of assessments via keyboard and/or alternate devices to accommodate participants who are unable to use a mouse.

These and other capabilitiesl help organizations ensure compliance with Web accessibility standards such as those described in Section 508 Web accessibility standards in the United States and the International web Accessibility Initiative Guidelines (WCAG) of the World  Wide Web Consortium (WC3).
