YnotLearn and Questionmark Form Alliance To Provide Integrated Solution For Customers

STAMFORD, CT - September 24, 2001 -YnotLearn, LLC, a provider of eLearning tools and services, today announced a partnership with Questionmark, creators of Questionmark™ Perception™ testing and assessment software. Through the alliance, the two companies will make their respective products interoperable, using emerging industry standard specifications as defined in the AICC and the IMS.

Perception assessments and authoring tools will be fully interoperable with YnotLearn's suite of eLearning tools and software infrastructure for delivering and managing online training and education. Perception will provide robust, versatile assessments and a wide range of statistical reports, while YnotLearn will offer the full range of learning management system functions including student registration and profiling, courseware and curricula administration, skills maintenance and inventories, learning records maintenance, online collaboration between students and instructors, and a resource library. Administrators and managers using YnotLearn can use the Questionmark system to more definitively identify strengths and weaknesses in organizational knowledge. Once weaknesses are identified, YnotLearn tools provide for launching and tracking off the shelf courseware as well as developing custom courseware designed to address those weaknesses.

"We're quite proud to be teaming with Questionmark," said Chris Bryant, president of YnotLearn. "Questionmark is a recognized veteran in this rapidly growing industry and offers the most prolific and robust computer based assessment suite available today. We are excited about the enhanced functionality the Questionmark relationship will bring to YnotLearn clients."

"It is a pleasure to work with a company so committed to providing excellent eLearning infrastructure, tools, and services," added Eric Shepherd, president of Questionmark. "YnotLearn has a strong eLearning product and service offering. We are pleased that Perception will be seamlessly integrated for our customers."

About Questionmark:
Questionmark has been producing testing and assessment software since 1988. Perception gives organizations an easy-to-use tool to create and deliver tests, quizzes and surveys on Intranets, the Internet or using Windows PCs. Test authors need no programming experience or knowledge of HTML. They can create multiple question banks from which to assemble tests and surveys, organizing questions into topics and sub-topics. Authors can shuffle questions and answers for each participant and preview sessions to see how they will appear post-deployment. They can present questions with videos, graphics and a wide variety of styles. Participants receive feedback as specified by the test author. Answers are saved to a file for scoring and analysis in a variety of report formats.

Businesses, governments, schools, colleges, and universities in more than 45 countries use Question Mark software. Typical applications include exams, quizzes, study aids, diagnostic tests, pre-course skills assessments, and course evaluations. Question Mark Corporation is actively involved with the IMS Global Learning Consortium and supports open standards. Visit www.questionmark.com for more information.
