Questionmark Announces New Partnership with ObjectJ

STAMFORD, CT - June 13, 2002 - Leading testing and assessment software company Questionmark today announced a new technology partnership with elearning solution provider ObjectJ, Inc.

The partnership will include the integration of Questionmark™ Perception™ assessment software with ObjectJ Sonata, an authoring tool designed to minimize time-to-market and the cost of eCourse publishing while maximizing student interactivity. Sonata uses Java technology to attain portability among various platforms. Later this year ObjectJ plans to offer a complete web-based solution to people who want to run ObjectJ courses with Perception assessments.

Koorosh Arfaian, president and CEO of ObjectJ, commented that Perception's ease of use makes it the ideal complement to Sonata's highly synchronized, flexible authoring capabilities.

"I was amazed at how quickly I was able to create a questionnaire after spending just a few minutes using Perception," said Arfaian. "We regard this integration with Perception as a way to meet the elearning industry's need for a complete suite of products that covers everything from course creation to assessment."

"Sonata is a robust authoring tool that can be used to deploy courses on everything from desktop machines to pocket PCs." said Questionmark President Eric Shepherd. "Training and educational organizations will benefit greatly from being able to administer Perception assessments within Sonata-based courses."
