Questionmark and KnowledgeAdvisors Partner for Comprehensive Assessment Analysis

Customers Will Receive Comprehensive Learning Effectiveness Evaluations

STAMFORD, CT – September 4, 2003 – Testing and assessment software provider Questionmark and KnowledgeAdvisors, Inc., a learning measurement software company, today announced an alliance to offer comprehensive evaluation of training assessments deployed using Questionmark™ Perception™.

Through the alliance, Knowledge Advisors’ Metrics That Matter™ learning evaluation system will analyze data generated by Perception-based course evaluations, quizzes, tests and exams to provide customers with consolidated reporting of learning analytics intelligence. Level I and Level II data from Perception assessments will be compared with job impact and performance indicators to create a complete measurement picture of an organization’s learning programs and return on investment.

Metrics that Matter™ is a web-based learning evaluation system that allows organizations to cost-effectively measure training impact and improve performance. Built around KnowledgeAdvisors’ proprietary measurement methodology, Metrics that Matter provides more than 100 web-based reports, compares performance to internal and external benchmarks and conducts custom queries of data.

Questionmark Perception testing and assessment software enables trainers to write, administer, and report on tests and surveys securely using individual PCs, local networks, the Internet, and intranets. Authoring wizards make it easy to write computerized exams without programming experience or knowledge of HTML. Comprehensive reports enable instructors and administrators to gauge individual and group progress and analyze the effectiveness of test items.

“This integration brings another level of meaning to the data that we are collecting in Level I and Level II assessments,” said Questionmark President Eric Shepherd. “Analytics from KnowledgeAdvisors, when combined with our assessment data, will help organizations determine how to improve their learning systems and their assessments. This has huge value at a time when corporate learning professionals increasingly need to maximize their return on investment in learning programs.”

“Questionmark Perception is a popular testing tool, and KnowledgeAdvisors’ Metrics that Matter is a great tool to measure learning impact. It is a natural fit for our two organizations to be working together. Our roadmap is for data to be collected via Questionmark Perception and reported via Metrics that Matter, thereby leveraging the strengths of both tools to better help our customers truly understand the value of their learning investments.” commented Kent Barnett, CEO and Founder of KnowledgeAdvisors.
