Questionmark and HumRRO Join Forces to Create Tests, Appraisal Instruments and Surveys for Government Agencies

STAMFORD, CT – March 10, 2004 –The Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO) is partnering with testing and assessment software provider Questionmark to help customers create and deliver effective and legally defensible assessments.

The collaboration will combine HumRRO’s extensive experience developing tests, performance appraisal instruments and surveys with their expertise in using Questionmark™ Perception™ testing and assessment software. HumRRO serves associations, government agencies and educational institutions, and is currently creating Perception assessments for a U.S. Army skills assessment project.

“We are pleased to be working with HumRRO, knowing that our partnership will provide for smoother, more economical start-ups on new projects,” said Questionmark President Eric Shepherd. “HumRRO’s expertise in organizational performance brings tremendous value to the creation of effective assessments for their clients, and helps them be successful with their assessment initiatives.”

“Most of our projects for our clients include upfront needs analysis, as well as the ultimate design and delivery of the right assessment instruments,” said Beverly Dugan, HumRRO’s vice president. “With the Questionmark technology, and our staff’s knowledge of its capabilities, we can really help our customers move quickly to get their assessment programs in place and producing the benefits that they’re looking for.”

About Questionmark:
Questionmark has been producing testing and assessment software since 1988, enabling educators and trainers to write, administer, and report on tests and surveys securely using individual PCs, local networks, the Internet, and intranets. Perception users can categorize their question banks into topics and sub-topics from which to assemble tests and surveys. They can shuffle questions and answers for each participant and preview assessments to see how they will appear post-deployment. They can present questions with videos, graphics and a wide variety of styles. Participants receive feedback as specified by the author. Answers are saved to an encrypted file for scoring and analysis in a variety of report formats. Questionmark Secure is an option that disables task switching and other desktop activities during high-stakes assessments.

Some 1,900 businesses, governments, schools, colleges, and universities in more than 50 countries use Questionmark Perception. Typical applications include exams, quizzes, study aids, diagnostic tests, pre-course skills assessments, and course evaluations.

Questionmark has offices in the United States, England, and Belgium, with distributors worldwide. Visit www.questionmark.com for more information.
