Questionmark Launches Online Communities for Educators and Trainers STAMFORD, CT - May 29, 2002 - Leading testing and assessment software provider Questionmark has launched a new service aimed at giving trainers, educators, and others the ability to communicate with each other and access Questionmark's extensive learning resources. Questionmark Communities (http://www.questionmark.com/communities) includes email forums on various aspects of assessments, including forums for academics as well as corporate trainers, learning resources such as best practice guides, and software downloads. Members of communities also receive a monthly newsletter about assessments. Online resources include PowerPoint presentations about creating effective assessments, a database of employee attitude survey questions, and Macromedia Flash tutorials about the use of Questionmark™ Perception™ testing and assessment software. Anyone interested in assessment may join Questionmark Communities. "Our customers have been telling us they want to be able to communicate with each other about assessments - to share their challenges, questions, successes, and solutions with each other and tap into the expertise our people have been gaining during the past 14 years," explained Questionmark President Eric Shepherd. "We have a wealth of information about online assessments, but so do our customers. We feel that providing a place on the Web for people to communicate about this subject will improve the way people use assessments." About Questionmark and Perception: Businesses, governments, schools, colleges, and universities in more than 50 countries use Questionmark software. Questionmark has more than 1,200 customers using Perception, with approximately 9,000 authoring systems installed, and systems shipped have been configured with approximately 3,000,000 participants. Typical applications include exams, quizzes, study aids, diagnostic tests, pre-course skills assessments, and course evaluations. Questionmark is actively involved with the IMS Global Learning Consortium and supports open standards. Visit www.questionmark.com for more information.
