CBA Management Partners with Questionmark to Provide Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Solution

Stamford, CT and New York, NY –November 12, 2003 – Business audit and risk management specialists CBA Management will use Questionmark™ Perception™ testing and assessment software to help businesses comply with the new Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.

Perception is the key technology platform behind an integrated internal control and risk management solution, IC-QUEST, which provides online assessment metrics for grading and evaluating the existing level of companies’ internal control. This turnkey solution is designed to help firms comply with the new regulations covered by Sections 302 (Disclosure Controls and Procedures) and 404 (Internal Control over Financial Reporting).

IC-QUEST offers:

  • Nine questionnaires on business processes
  • More than 1000 “closed” questions, with related risk and risk responses portfolio
  • Key references for multi-purpose reports
  • Real-time assessment and reports to top management
  • Consolidation of results at group level, with drill-down capability
  • User-friendly interface and administration
  • Dynamic monitoring on a continuous improvement scheme

“Given the urgency of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, it was crucial to publish internal control questionnaires online quickly, easily and effectively” said Patrick Cadoret-Manier, Director for CBA Management (America).

“Questionmark Perception provides the scalability and reliability we need to deploy our business audit, internal control and risk management solutions,” added Jean-Jacques Quang, CBA Management Partner. “With it, we can rapidly bring to market an innovative product for large multinational corporations that require real-time monitoring and analysis of Internal Control, while providing shared resources to reinforce existing procedures."

“The Sarbanes-Oxley compliance process generally takes about six months, so this alliance comes at just the right time to help firms meet the compliance deadline in the spring of 2004,” commented Questionmark President Eric Shepherd. “We are excited about working with CBA Management, whose extensive experience with internal audits makes them well-suited to help companies ensure compliance.”
