Title:
Effective Reporting: Harvesting, Communicating, and Disseminating Data Effectively

Synopsis:
The Arkansas Department of Workforce Education uses Perecption software to service over 300 school districts, over 3000 teachers, and over 80,000 students. ADWE's assessment program is multifaceted, acting as a tool for learner evaluation, classroom improvement, and State level grant distribution. ADWE likewise, uses its assessment program as a Federal Perkins indicator/reporting tool. Teachers, school administrators, State officials, and Federal officials all have a stake in the program. As a result, the ADWE Office of Assessment and Curriculum has developed a well organized protocol for report distribution. Each primary stakeholder has an assigned level of access to reports as well as a responsibility to communicate the nature and scope of these reports to others within their respective organizations. This presentation will identify best practices in report distribution in a multidimensional environment.

Objectives:

  • Gain an understanding of how to ultize standard Perception reports
  • Be exposed to a variety of custom reporting templates desinged for ADW
  • Have an opportunity to share and ask questions regarding reporting best practices
