Presenter: Carolina Venancio, Bradesco Foundation Escola Virtual

Title: The Cloud School: Learning and Assessment for Underserved People in Brazil

Synopsis:

The Bradesco Foundation provides education and vocational training for more than 100,000 children and young adults in Brazil. Questionmark Perception has enabled the Foundation, which is the largest private education institution in Brazil, to improve its educational activities by streamlining assessments and providing valuable statistical data. Perception, integrated with the Performa and Sharepoint, is used for summative and formative assessments as well as course evaluations and opinion surveys at 40 schools throughout the country. Automatic grading and reports allow the immediate release of results and better monitoring of school practices.

This session will show how the Foundation’s nationwide deployment of Perception has helped administrators identify needed adjustments in learning programs and promote change within schools.

Learning Objectives:

Learn how strategic planning has benefited a large dispersed learning organization
See firsthand the integration between Performa and Perception
Understand how statistical analysis of test results is helping to improve learning programs
Recommended Experience Level: Intermediate
