For Immediate Release
Thinq and Questionmark integrate learning management and assessment software THINQ and Questionmark offer customers learning management and online testing and assessment in a single, integrated package. THINQ Learning Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise learning solutions, today announced the expansion of an existing relationship with leading online testing software company, Questionmark. THINQ customers can now purchase Questionmark™ Perception™ testing and assessment software as part of the THINQ TrainingServer® Learning Management System (LMS). Questionmark has more than 1,100 Perception customers and offers the learning industry's most comprehensive set of online assessment capabilities, including unsurpassed authoring, reporting and analysis tools. With Perception software, THINQ customers can easily and cost-effectively create online tests directly through the THINQ LMS and through tight integration yields more features - including a secure browser option and user-by-user question randomization - than most LMSs' internal testing capabilities. The combination of THINQ and Questionmark technologies offers capabilities beyond simply the tests themselves, offering companies the facility to capture and analyse test results and produce customised reports. Test results can also be used to automatically prescribe customised curriculums or identify employees best suited for certain projects. "As a THINQ TrainingServer LMS customer, as well as a Questionmark Perception user, we are looking forward to the rollout of the joint solution," said Gerry Tompkins, Vice President responsible for the development of self-instruction materials for Citibank's Training and Development in Latin America. "We have found that using Questionmark's software for testing and assessment saves us time and money and provides our users with instant tests scores; and, of course the LMS is vital for launching content and registering students for classes. We are very pleased that these two products that we rely on to manage and track training for our employees will be offered as a combined product." Questionmark and THINQ have worked together to create a unique configuration of Perception that directly addresses the business needs of THINQ's enterprise LMS customers. This latest configuration includes browser-based authoring for the enterprise-wide distribution of internal content, a common practice in large organisations. "We are eager to build on what is already a very successful partnership," said John Kleeman, managing director of Questionmark. "Having Perception offered with THINQ's own learning management system will help their customers easily assess, measure, and enhance many of the steps in the learning process." Ray Maskell, president of THINQ Learning Solutions, said: "Questionmark's online testing and assessments combined with our LMS are perfect for any company's testing, analysis and curriculum management needs. Our expanded partnership makes it simple for customers to begin benefiting from online testing in days." THINQ TrainingServer LMS launches, tracks and centrally manages corporate training in all modalities, including online, classroom, books, videos and virtual classroom courses.
