Questionmark Makes Assessment Results Available in Excel LONDON, UK – December 4, 2003 -- It is now possible to export answer data created in Questionmark™ Perception™ assessments directly into the Microsoft Excel spreadhseet format. Questionmark’s new Export to Excel add-on enables users with Excel 2000+ installed to run reports on assessments, tests, surveys and exams and display the results directly in Excel instead of a browser. The new feature puts all the graphing and formatting power of Excel into the hands of Questionmark™ Perception™ users. Perception, which enables educators and trainers to create their own quizzes, tests, exams and surveys without knowledge of HTML, includes nine built-in report types. The software also uses MS Access, SQL or Oracle to store results. Perception's answer database is documented in order to allow third-party reporting programs to access the results if they have been configured with sufficient security by the system administrator. Answers and results can be extracted using a series of application program interfaces (APIs) known as Questionmark Web Integrated Services Environment (QMWISe). This comprehensive series of web services methods enable registration, management and reporting systems to tightly integrate with Questionmark Perception. Export to Excel is available as a free add-on to Questionmark Perception and can be downloaded from Questionmark Communities. To download and find more details, go to: http://www.questionmark.com/perception/exporttoexcel.htm. About Questionmark and Perception More than 1,800 businesses, governments, schools, colleges, and universities worldwide use Questionmark Perception. Typical applications include exams, quizzes, study aids, diagnostic tests, pre-course skills assessments, and course evaluations. Complete product information is available at www.questionmark.com.
