Questionmark to Hold Awarding Bodies Symposium on Online Assessment
LONDON: 23 October, 2007 – Questionmark, a leading provider of testing and assessment software, will hold a one-day symposium for awarding bodies on the 28th of November, 2007, in Coventry. Awarding bodies, which provide a wide range of occupational qualifications as well as GCSE’s, A levels and GNVQs, are increasingly concerned about the potential security risks and costs of introducing e-Assessment by 2009—a change mandated by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA), which regulates awarding bodies in the United Kingdom. The symposium, to be held one day before the Federation of Awarding Bodies conference in Coventry, will address participants’ concerns through case study presentations and demonstrations of relevant features within the Questionmark™ Perception™ assessment management system.
