Worldwide IT Certifications at EXIN: converting age into maturity

Stefanie Moerbeek, Coordinator of Exam Development and Lex Hendriks, Portfolio Manager

Examination Institute for Information Science (EXIN)

Stefanie Moerbeek is Coordinator Exam development. She has a teaching degree and has studied Educational Science at Utrecht University. She has been working at EXIN since 2000. Having started with a portfolio of exam products for the national market, she has also been involved in some of the international products. Since the start of the I-tracks certification program, she has been working on new competency based modules and certification Tracks. She has been involved in three conversions of Questionmark Perception (V2, V3, V4).

Lex Hendriks is Portfolio Manager and responsible for the development of EXIN’s international certification program for professional development, deployment and use of IT. He holds a PHD in Mathematics and Information Science and is a part-time researcher in mathematical logic and computation at the University of Amsterdam. After 15 years experience in the IT industry and as one of the pioneers of IT Service Management in the Netherlands, he joined EXIN in 1998 as the Product Manager for certification in Service Management, Project Management and Procurement Management.

EXIN, the Examination Institute for Information Science, is a global, independent provider of IT certification services. EXIN's mission is to advance the quality of the IT sector and the IT services by means promoting the certification of professionals and users based on trainer independent testing and certification. EXIN uses Questionmark Perception to develop and deliver exams worldwide in 14 languages.
