This download is only required if you are using Perception Server version 4 for tryout and evaluation purposes and wish to use the MSDE database engine (which is a cut down version of SQL Server for use on the desktop). If you are evaluating Perception 4 and wish to install Perception Server on your personal PC, then this program will install MSDE for Perception on it, to allow this.
