What’s New in Questionmark™ Perception™ v4.4?

Questionmark to Go, which extends the benefits of "online" assessments to "offline" participants. Administrators can schedule assessments for offline delivery. Participants download assessments to their PCs, can complete them while offline and receive instant results and feedback. Questionmark to Go automatically uploads a participant's results to the server for reporting once the participant is back online.

Publish to Windows, new functionality in Authoring Manager that enables authors to publish an assessment to a file that can be distributed on CD, a USB thumb drive, or even email. The assessment can then be delivered using the Questionmark to Go player. Publish to Windows provides a good solution for users seeking wide distribution of assessments as stand-alone learning exercises or diagnostic quizzes.

Open Authoring simplifies "content harvesting" by enabling subject matter experts (SMEs) or other "part time" authors to enter questions directly into an item bank using a simple, browser-based interface.

Publish to LMS, a wizard-based tool makes it possible to launch and track assessments in Perception via third-party learning management systems compliant with AICC, IMS, SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004. This feature also supports PENS (Package Exchange Notification Services), a new interoperability standard created to enable "single-click" publishing of LMS-ready content.

The Test Analysis Report, a new report that provides detailed information regarding reliability and statistical/psychometric performance of an assessment. This report provides crucial data to Perception users involved in medium and high-stakes testing, helping them ensure that their assessments accurately measure what they were intended to measure, and that they are ultimately defensible in the event of an appeal or legal action.
