Question:

Why don't reports print in full color from a web browser?

Answer:

When printing a report from a web browser, you may encounter a problem with printing colors associated with the graphs depicted. This issue is caused by settings in the web browser that are designed to reduce the colors included in a printout of a web page. This issue tends to appear particularly in Survey Reports and Coaching Reports. For details on how to enable full color printing, please refer to:

Enabling full color printing in Internet Explorer

To enable Internet Explorer 7 to print background colours and images:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click Internet Options from the Tools menu

  1. Click the Advanced tab
  2. Scroll down to and place a tick in Print background colours and images

  1. Click OK

Enabling full color printing in Firefox 1 and 2

To enable Firefox to print background colours and images:

  1. Open Firefox and navigate to the page you want to print
  2. Click Page Setup from the File menu

  1. Place a tick in the Print Background (colours & images) option box

  1. Click OK
