Version 4 support home knowledge base question design

Question:

Are True/False, Yes/No and Likert Scales independent question types or variants of Multiple Choice questions?

Answer:

They are independent.

Perception version 4 considers True/False, Yes/No, Likert Scale and Multiple Choice questions to belong to separate question types. When you create such a question in the Question Wizard, it will be assigned one of these question types unless you change it.

This is a change from Perception version 3, where when you created a True/False, Yes/No or Likert Scale question, it created these questions with the Multiple Choice question type for delivery and editing purposes.

In Perception version 4, you can make separate settings for how these question types are displayed in templates.

If you want to change a True/False, Yes/No or Likert Scale question into a Multiple Choice, question you can do so in the Question Editor.
