How do I set up Perception Server Version 4.3 once I have run the install program?

Answer:

Once you have run the Perception Server Version 4.3 install program, you will need to configure your installation before you can start delivering assessments. How you do so will depend on whether you are:

Installing from scratch

If you are installing Perception Server 4.3 from scratch, you will need to create your repository and may need to perform additional configuration tasks depending on the system you are using.

Refer to Installing Perception Server in the Perception Server 4.3 Install Guide for full instructions on how to create your repository and configure your installation.

Upgrading from Version 4.1 or 4.2

If you are upgrading your existing Perception Server 4.1 or 4.2 installation to Perception Server 4.3 you will need to update your database using Shared Repository Manager and update the perceptionv4.ini configuration file used by Perception.

Refer to Upgrading Perception Server in the Perception Server 4.3 Install Guide for full instructions on how to create your repository and configure your installation.

Upgrading from Version 3
