The main areas of the RMS are:
Import Results (Step 1): This section allows customers to browse assessment results within their Perception database and import their results into the RMS
Create a result Set (Step 2): This section allows customers to use the assessment results that they have imported from Perception and create units of filtered assessment results called result sets which can then be analyzed for question quality and have scoring changes (e.g., dropping questions) made before publishing
Review & adjust scores (Step 3):Result sets can be analyzed to determine how well they perform at the assessment and question levels. Questions can be dropped or credited and scoring changes made to questions. All changes made to a result set are captured in an audit trail process where rationales are required for changes made
Access Publish Results (Step 4): Once results are published (results have been finalized and locked down within the RMS database) the published results can be accessed in two ways:
A flat format HTML table can be created for each view of each result set which can be used to copy and paste into other applications (e.g., Excel) and create custom reports as required
Customers can use third party reporting tools to access database views of the published results
Manage Users: Perception administrators are imported into the RMS and can be assigned to roles within the RMS. The RMS has three roles: Supervisor, Instructor, and Viewer. To login to the RMS users would use their Perception Username and Password
System Options: The modifiable options within the RMS are accessible via the system options page. For example customers can modify the acceptable, low, and seriously low question discrimination range for questions
Update License: Customers are able to update and manage their licenses using a simple interface in this section
News and information and Documentation: News and information regarding the RMS and Questionmark products are listed in this area as well as links to the RMS documentation for easy accessibility
By clicking on any of these areas you will be taken to the appropriate section of the RMS.
The first step in using the RMS is to Import Results from Perception, refer to Importing Results for further details.
